Here are a few of the things we've been doing so far this year. Harrison is on the 1st-grade basketball team and has been having fun playing on a team; they decided to call themselves the Blazing Dragons. We also brought the kids into Seattle to see the Huskies play the Cal Bears in men's basketball (which turned out to be one of the most exciting games ever, going into triple overtime). And for a school assignment, Harrison played the part of Woodrow Wilson in the Presidential Wax Museum at Norman Rockwell. He memorized a speech that he would recite when anyone pushed the "button" on his hand (here's a video of him practicing). Did you know that Woodrow Wilson won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1919? Well, now you know. :-)
